Role Description:

The Manager of University Accounts at Off Campus Partners leads a team of University Account Managers, overseeing university client relationships to ensure exceptional support. This role involves managing the university servicing program to ensure each client is effectively serviced regularly, driving account retention and growth, and providing internal team support. The Manager collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for strengthening client relationships, achieving overall client satisfaction, and driving growth. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the University Account Manager team to ensure they exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the University Account Manager team to ensure each team member meets or exceeds all university account management expectations. Regularly review individual and team performance; actively supporting each team member.

  • Support and participate in university meetings with team members, emphasizing the development and maintenance of strong relationships with each university partner.

  • Develop and oversee regular content presented to university partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and manage content based on feedback provided.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalating issues, collaborating with teams to implement solutions or escalate when necessary.

  • Manage and analyze feedback, surveys, and other data to identify improvement opportunities and proactively address concerns.

  • Collaborate with leadership and teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Provide regular progress reports and outcomes to leadership.

  • Travel is a key component of this position, and candidates should prepare to spend 20%-30% of their time traveling to universities and conferences as needed.

Basic Qualifications (For internal applicants):

  • Two years of experience within sales or account management at The CoStar Group or a current employee within the Off Campus Partners brand.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

Basic Qualifications (For external applicants):

  • Two or more years of successful account management experience, preferably providing a software product; or equivalent experience in the Student Housing or Multifamily industry

  • Two of more years of experience leading a team of sales or account management professionals

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge or experience in higher education and/or the student housing industry

  • Ability to analyze data, build out reporting and make strategic recommendations based on market data, trends, and performance metrics.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations at a high growth company.

  • Self-starter who can work within a team environment and independently, while being highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

  • Experience managing customer relationships through the entire customer life cycle, including contact and pipeline management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a variety of audiences.

  • Knowledge or experience in the student housing industry

  • Evidence of strong academic performance in college
