The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking and serving foods that meet quality standards while complying with all applicable sanitation, health, personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Implementing the Cultural and Technical Musts of proudly preparing the best quality food with uncompromising health and safety standards and Picture Perfect Plate Presentation within 8 minutes. Salary will be dependant on experience. Works as a team player to maintain a pleasant work environment • Comes to work on time. • Reports to work in a clean uniform with name tag. • Maintains a friendly and courteous manner with fellow personnel. • Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all LVRG standards of conduct, policies and departmental policies and procedures. • Keeps MOD promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters. • Attends staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled. • Effectively communicates with team members to provide Red Robin standard for quality service. General Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent • One to two years cooking experience • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age • Communicate effectively orally and in writing • Planning and organizing • Honesty, reliability, work values • Basic math and reading • Basic knowledge of food, liquor, wine & service • Customer sensitivity • Attention to detail • Cheerful and friendly • Team Player • Able to work without direct supervision • Cooking terminology and ingredients • Good knife skills ** Apply in person, be prepared for a brief interview on the spot.
