Manpower Maintenance Electrician in Selah, Washington

Electrician

The Quincy Plant is responsible for the extraction and concentration of nutrients.

The Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and manufacturing related equipment at the Quincy plant. The team is comprised of highly qualified Skilled Trades employees.

As an Electrician on the team, your focus will be on performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing maintenance issues, performing repairs, and being involved with installations and adjustments for manufacturing and facility related equipment. You will spend approximately 60% of your time on manufacturing equipment and 40% on facilities equipment.

In this position, you will have numerous responsibilities - from diagnosing malfunctions, to repairing equipment, to performing preventative maintenance and calibrations to finding root-cause solutions to problems. You will work with manufacturing, conveyor, pumping, hydraulic, and compressed air systems, as well as switchgear, transformers, distribution panels and control and alarm systems.

This position will require flexibility for possible Monday through Saturday scheduling, with the department determining which days will comprise the work week based upon production and scheduling demands. This role may require scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Required qualifications: 

Journeyman Electrician's license through the state of Washington

5 years of experience performing maintenance work on production or facilities equipment

Knowledge of PLCs and PLC control applications

Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose and correct problems with conveyor systems, pumping systems, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems and lighting systems.
