The Technical Extrusion/Thermoforming Senior Lead has the following responsibiliies:

  • Apply knowledge of materials and engineering to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems or related processes

  • Work with commercial or industrial contractors to refine equipment designs and modifications to increase operability and safety

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of safety, quality and performance of Technical Leads and Technical Shift Leads

  • Assist and support the Technical Supervisor to coordinate and perform all activities of the technical department

  • Assist and support the Technical Supervisor to meet and exceed the department's objectives, including all matters concerning EH&S

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in plastics, thermoforming and extrusion is preferred.

  • Must be proficient in machinery controls systems.

  • Must be proficient in industrial machine repair (pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical 480v, belts and conveyor belt systems, gear boxes and motors).

  • Must have all necessary hand tools, digital volt and amp meter.
