  1. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

HVAC Service Technicians are responsible for all aspects of HVAC Servicing, to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacture specifications and company requirements. 2. The job entails servicing HVAC equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Equipment includes, but is not limited to furnaces, air handlers, indoor/outdoor coils, condensing units, compressors, refrigerants, and humidifiers, while working under minimum or no supervision.

``` 3. REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS

Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Possession of a valid Missouri drivers license with good record of driving.

Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the service area.

Possession of 1-3 years HVAC service experience.

Ability to pass a background check for criminality.

EPA certification is a plus.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.

Strong ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipment.

Ability to identify, eliminate, and/or communicate workplace hazards.
