Additional Compensation Details: $23.00 - 24.00 per hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure $100 Meal Credit to our onsite markets on first day of work Responsibilities Schedule Various Shifts Available The Role Pick daily customer orders according to pick ticket and Vocollect Headset with particular attention being given to accuracy, speed, quality and safety. Properly palletize and wrap orders for shipping. Orders must be picked within an acceptable guideline for errors. An electric ride on pallet jack is used to pick orders. Essential Duties and Responsibities (any combination of the following job duties): Using Vocollect, headset speaks unit of work number into system. The Vocollect then guides the worker through the entire pick orders in sequence of the routes. Place orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer. Stage completed pallets in loading area. Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule. Pick short sheets as assigned. Complete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items picked. Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition. All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality. Additional responsibilities that may be assigned. Qualifications Required Minimum Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and detail oriented. Must have basic math comprehension skills. Must be safety minded. Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed. Ability to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-56 degrees. Ability to lift up to 70lbs consistently all day. Ability to work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities. Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment. Desired Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year of prior warehouse work experience preferred.
