Paladin Technologies Warehouse Assistant in Seattle, Washington

The Warehouse Assistant will assist in the orderly production and distribution of products by receiving incoming materials from vendors, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging materials and supplies for final distribution. This position will also assist in the monitoring of inventory and assets of the company as well as manage the location of these assets. Roles & Responsibilities Identify areas and organize all the similar materials into that area. Divide warehouse by area and department. Maintain warehouse clean and organized at all times. Document warehouse problems and issues in writing. Address employee who are not following the rules of the warehouse with management. Find ways to shorten the time it takes for personnel to pick up materials. Ensure all Paladin assets are bar-coded and in our inventory system before leaving to the field. Account for and maintain all tools. Document all damaged or lost tools. Secure the warehouse after hours using the accordion gate. Enforce the signs already in place to help regulate the personnel with access to the warehouse. Establish and maintain a tool servicing area. Tools must be reviewed for working order and serviced/ cleaned prior to them being issued again. Tools will be inspected upon their return for damage. Any new damage will be documented and forwarded to the Warehouse Manager. Check in/out and inspect tools and vehicles. Receive materials from shippers. Process paperwork for items going back into stock. Process RMA's Required Qualifications Minimum 1 to 2 year of warehouse experience Ability to lift 50 pounds Clean driving record and valid driver license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated Professional Competencies Safe Forklift operating procedures (OSHA Certification). Strong organizational skills. Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines. Detail oriented Ability to work independently Physical Demands:In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. Use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on keyboard; reach with hands and arms; effectively communicate (i.e., see, hear, speak, and write clearly). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, and may work occasionally in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is generally considered moderate.
