Job Summary The Universal Trainer directly reports to the Facilitation Training Manager and the L&D Group Training Manager to create, develop, and deliver a wide range of trainings and tools, that will cover WaFd Bank's various business lines and bank initiatives. This role serves as the front line and support staff trainer for delivering content face to face or virtual trainings with various bank training programs, certifications, banking platforms, digital channels, and various business lines. Effectively leads the training courses and curriculum as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, deposit operations, consumer mortgage lending, banking regulations, internal bank policies and procedures, various computer systems software, soft-skill core competencies and other assigned duties. The day-to-day job tasks required of Universal Trainers vary depending on the assigned daily training needs, number of employees being trained, and the specific company protocols they're tasked with creating and teaching. On days not engaged in training, the Universal Trainer must participate in other responsibilities as assigned. See Primary Responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities Bank Training Programs: Universal trainers are responsible to work with the L&D design team and business owners on various bank programs which will include: Complete understanding of what is being delivered Collaboration with script design Informed facilitation to deliver an exceptional learning experience for our bank team members. Universal trainers conduct training sessions, as assigned, using various training methods to engage employees, including hands-on and interactive activities, delivered virtually or in-person. Training sessions will be conducted in an open, friendly, and professional environment to maximize participant engagement and learning. Will be required to create support tools to compliment various trainings Universal trainers must learn bank processes and operations to deliver relevant, and effective training programs. Understands and demonstrates knowledge of the course content, materials, and delivery prior to training. Understands and anticipates audience needs; gathers information to adjust or customize training or instruction for any group. When required, a Universal Trainer will be assigned to job shadow various business line employees to develop relevant skills and comprehension of subjects being trained.
