Seattle Children's Staffing Coordinator in Seattle, Washington
Collaborates with patient care units to create and implement staffing plans based on unit needs, available resources, and in accordance with established policies and collective bargaining agreements. Applies standard work and critical thinking to adjust staffing plans required to account for unplanned absences, census fluctuations, RN skill mix and changes in unit needs. Maintains a high level of accuracy while supporting multiple areas in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment while meeting deadlines for contracted staff as defined by their collective bargaining agreement and payroll polices. Maintains a working knowledge of established policies, procedures, and payroll practices in performing this role; exceptions are referred to the manager/designee or director as appropriate. Expert user of Seattle Children's scheduling and time management system.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience. At least one (1) year's customer service experience working with diverse populations OR 1+ year experience as Staffing Coordinator. Working knowledge of, and experience working with, computers and computer programs. Must be available to work weekends/evenings and call.

Compensation Range
$21.94 - $32.90 per hour
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
