Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, US Spanish Language in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Amazon North America Retail team is seeking a proven, well-rounded, and highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to own and drive strategic projects to make Amazon.com the best place for Spanish language Customers to shop online.

As a Sr. PMM in our team, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational bias; you will design and manage inclusive marketing initiatives to help strengthen Amazon’s perception across Hispanic audiences in the US, and you will have end to end ownership and provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your roadmap on a regular cadence.

You must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, working independently, be analytical, possess excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy the intellectual challenge associated with learning, launching, and evolving new products. Your oral and written communication skills will be superlative and you will excel in stakeholder relationship management. You will be passionate about your work and see the strategic big-picture, yet be detail-oriented and be organized. You will have proven leadership skills in a very fast-paced, highly demanding environment.

You will work closely with teams across Product, Campaign Management, Brand Planning, Creative, Media and Insights as well as with Brand & Business stakeholders in other parts of Amazon, agencies and external companies. The scope includes support and management of brand affinity and retail event campaigns, along with more focused and culturally-nuanced efforts, where you will provide strategic input, campaign leadership, cultural expertise and creative thinking. You'll be able to effortlessly pivot from designing and executing single channel campaigns to leading cross-channel, cross-functional programs, often simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities

• Author integrated marketing & mass communications plans designed to primarily reach Hispanic/ Latino/a/x, and multicultural young adult (18-24) consumers

• Shape and effect campaign & creative briefs (single-channel & cross-channel)

• Develop and execute content and amplification strategies for our cultural content hub(s)

• Oversee the translation and transcreation of Spanish-language creative across campaigns

• Define channel strategies, effecting channel plans

• Develop and execute complex campaigns & programs of small and large scale

• Outline operational & executional requirements of a program and the process to address them

• Define and design processes, implement and / or utilize workflow tools

• Co-own campaign & program budget management and adherence

• Partner with and manage creative teams – internal partners and / or external agencies

• Manage creative asset development & delivery across multiple channels

• Work with Insights team to design learning agendas and assess campaign & program performance

• Collaborate with internal partners to share learnings, identify multicultural insights, shape strategies and design & execute multicultural targeted or inclusive campaigns for the US.

• Lead campaign and program alignment meetings and creative reviews with senior leaders, stakeholders and global partners

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
