Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech in Seattle, Washington

The ISS organization develops software platform and applications that enable 2MM sellers across 9 countries (and growing), manage their Amazon business. This highly visible customer-facing initiative will directly impact customer and selling partner post-order experience across the US, EU, and Japan marketplaces. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager, to drive product strategy, design, and go-to-market efforts. You will collaborate with business development, marketing, finance, software developers and business intelligence, to define product value proposition, establish cost and pricing structures, launch new features and drive product adoption.

The role is both strategic and operational, and is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can think big, while diving into the details to execute flawlessly. Successful candidates will have a track record of delivering technology products in a matrixed organization, through strong product management and problem solving skills, and the ability to motivate, influence and collaborate effectively, with global stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and manage the product roadmap

  • Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications

  • Work cross-functionally in developing an idea and gaining support from all stakeholders

  • Overseeing and owning the overall of product development and delivery

  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators for success

  • Develop go-to-market strategies to drive awareness, education and selling partner adoption

  • Provide differentiated insights based on key metrics, historical data and post-mortem analysis

  • Communicate with senior management and other business/technical partners on product decisions, program status and risks

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
