Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Shopping Design in Seattle, Washington

Description

If you have a passion for reinventing the shopping experience and you enjoy the thrill of experimentation, optimization, and collaboration, this job is for you. This is a unique product opportunity to develop a new customer-centric roadmap. We are building a new Product team is heavily focused on Shopping CX experimentation. Our PM team works closely with design partners on the team and engineering partners across the company to innovate and identify opportunities for storewide customer impact.

Our team is part of the Shopping Design org responsible for designing foundational shopping experiences, including discovery, homepage, inspirational shopping, detail page, purchasing, personalization, and more. In addition, our team supports the Rio Design system which owns major UI components (e.g. buttons, filters, alerts) which creates a more predictable and consistent shopping experience for our customers - used by thousands of Amazon builders. In 2024, we are driving a roadmap of 50 experiments across 20 teams.

The Product Manager will own the product vision and roadmap within a broad coverage area such as discovery, core shopping, or storewide patterns. You will have exciting opportunities to experiment on the current CX and spend time looking around corners to help define the shopping experience of the future. This is a highly visible role that will interact with Shopping org teams and it’s many global partners

Key job responsibilities

  • Defining a CX vision for the shopping experience in partnership with your design team, developing an actionable product roadmap, and identifying and influencing product/engineering teams to run experiments.

  • Managing a portfolio of experiments, some projects that span multiple teams and shopping experiences, and some that dive deep in one CX area.

  • Leveraging your high judgment to prioritize opportunities that drive the most strategic value; working with your design team to scope design effort, set/track goals and triage incoming priorities from product/engineering teams.

  • Utilizing your varied background and skillsets to dive deep with designers on UX decisions and drive technical conversations with engineering partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Well developed analytical skills and experience setting up CX experiments and analyzing results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
