This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Data Science and Machine Learning Platform that enables the use of data in decision-making across the company from engineering to flight operations and more. This position will be responsible for developing the roadmap and implementing the functionality to allow embedded Data Scientists, ML practitioners, and advanced analytics users to develop, train, validate, and deploy AI, ML, and general Data Science models in the cloud, at the edge and on hardware. This position requires a technical leader with the ability to lead technical teams, set strategic direction, and own the tactical implementation of that roadmap in partnership with sister teams and customers. Experience building event-driven systems optimized for driving insights from data across the company, stored in different formats, at scale, securely in a cloud environment at the edge, and on hardware is critical.
