Additional Compensation Details: $75k-$85k Annually Dependent on Experience and Location of Role Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Responsibilities The Role The Senio HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. The Senior HR Generalist supports the division in all areas of HR with a focus on Workers Compensation & Safety, Employee Relations, Policy Implementation, Recruitment, and Employment Law Compliance. Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To Manage division workers comp claims from date of injury to full release; communicate with injured worker, manager, supervisors, claims manager and clinics on return to work options. Work with employees, managers and supervisors on employee relations issues including employee counseling, documentation and investigations. Sit on the safety committee, assist division leadership with the roll out of safety inititaives. Responsible for all OSHA reporting and compliance. HR Dashboard Reporting, including people analytics, workers compenation, leaves of absence (LOA), etc. Support HR Manager with New Supervisor Training and other employee trainings including, state compliance trainings, HRIS systems, documentation and performance management. Assist employees with basic questions regarding company benefit plans, help corporate HR collect enrollment forms and annual open enrollments. Support the LOA administration, including tracking days away from work, processing Federal and State FMLA requests. Communicating with employees and physicians on ADA/LOA related issues. Counsel employees on their rights and responsbiliities as it relates to LOA. Organizing employee appreciation events at the division level through the help of a committee and/or Sr. leadership. Employee file compliance. Work on other projects as assigned. Other projects as required. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Must have experience in addressing and following up on employee relations investigations. Platform experience with HRIS, talent management system, background check, and UA Must be flexible and able to prioritize workflow to complete all tasks, excellent time management. Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects. Must be attentive to detail, and with strong problem-solving skills.
