The Amazon Shopping Video (ASV) team’s mission is to enable customers to find inspiration, information, entertainment, and community through videos at any point in their shopping journey. We are passionate about building, testing, and releasing scalable, well-designed software. We constantly improve our technical foundation and customer experience.

Key job responsibilities

We are looking for senior FEEs to build a high performing organization. We are looking for highly motivated, quality-centric engineers with deep end-to-end mobile and web application knowledge to design, develop and research technologies that impact millions of end users. Successful candidate must have a strong drive for results, excellent eye for user experience, good interpersonal skills, and be a team player who has the ability to work independently in a fast-paced start-up like environment.

You will be working with cross-functional teams across the company to develop best in class Second Screen Companion Experiences.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

  • 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience

  • Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

  • Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
