Fuse is a horizontal, integrated marketing channel enabling Amazon services to acquire and engage incremental customers through distribution partnerships. We expand Amazon’s reach by providing access to large bases of incremental customers via integration into Mobile Operator (MO) and Multichannel Video Programming Distributor (MVPD) service plans (prepaid, postpaid, broadband, converged) and associated partner marketing (TV, digital O&O, physical retail).

The Fuse Data Analytics team is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to influence Fuse's direction using data insights. The ideal candidate is business-curious and possesses a strong analytical mindset. The candidate will excel at communicating with senior leadership and executives (L8s) and turning ambiguity and conjecture into actionable recommendations. The candidate will find opportunities where data will lead to better outcomes and mobilize the Data Analytics team to meet them.

In this role, you will be a technical expert with significant scope and impact. You will work with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Finance and Marketing Managers, as well as other data experts to build new decision models. We are seeking someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment where we add value incrementally and frequently. Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Leaders, Product Team, Marketing Team and Finance Team to deliver integrated BI solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions and data warehousing architecture.

  • Design and optimize data models, data schemas, and databases to support BI reporting and analytics requirements.

  • Implement data quality processes and standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of BI solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SQL experience

  • Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions

  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, etc.

  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics, data science or equivalent quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field

  • Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.

  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
