Description

We are looking for a high caliber Senior Business Development Manager to lead our B2B business across multiple categories and build programmatic foundations that fosters B2B growth. It is an exciting opportunity that requires someone who can manage innovation and leverage organizational agility to deliver results. This is a high profile role, where a successful candidate will need to earn trust/influence both internal stakeholders and external strategic partner decision makers. Leadership presence, ability to write, and crisp communication is required.

Key job responsibilities

This Sr. BDM will own the following:

1) Owning input and output goals across their categories in addition to subject matter expert (SME) assignments.

2) Proven record of driving strategic vendor negotiations and delivering outsized results.

3) Comfortable representing Amazon when meeting with global brand decision makers.

4) Effective at setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader B2B business goals and vision.

5) Skilled communicator in working with Amazon partners and vendors, as well as with internal groups to identify opportunities to delivers a better customer experience.

6) Strong business case builder who can translate perceived opportunity into end-to-end recommendations for business change backed by solid data.

7) Agile in cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs.

8) Adept at identifying industry trends that are relevant to customer selection and experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

  • Experience working in technology solutions, office supply chain, or wireless industries.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
