Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. What you get to do every single day
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 + bonus.

Requirements
Must have excellent time management skills
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
High attention to detail
Proficient in ERP systems
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Proven knowledge of financial analysis
Experience with reconciliations
Solid understanding of Real Estate Accounting
General familiarity with General Accounting
Quality experience with Communication Skills
Month end closings experience
Practical knowledge of Process Improvement
Well-founded grasp of budgeting
Proficiency in commercial real estate
Yardi experience preferred
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
