ADOBE SYSTEMS INC Software Development Engineer in Seattle, Washington

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Maintain and evolve the software architecture for Adobe's current and future needs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Investigate new concepts and explore the creation of new technology that can strengthen Adobe's patent portfolio of technology. Work with end customers to transform ideas and workflows into product technology. Develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code, whether implementing architectural improvements, features, or fixing bugs. Write automated performance, unit, and integrity tests. Write and review engineering documents and review design specs, participating in collaborative code reviews. Profile and optimize systems to ensure optimal CPU/GPU utilization and performance. May allow for partial telecommuting. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressively-responsible experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer related occupation. Position requires 60 months of experience involving the following: CPU/GPU optimization, C/C++, JavaScript, WebGPU/ WebGL and other GPU frameworks, and asynchronous code architecture.
