Highspot, Inc. seeks Software Development Engineer in Seattle, WA.

Duties: Work alongside a cross-functional team comprised of Engineers, a UX Designer, and a Product Manager. Own a strategic area of the product and work to continuously deliver improvements and new features using agile development practices. Demonstrate and mentor good development practices including unit, integration, and end to-end testing, by designing software that is scalable and maintainable, and by providing constructive code review feedback. Master development process, culture, and codebase, then work with the team to constantly improve it through mentoring, encouraging, and inspiring developers at all levels, from interns to senior developers. Push the boundaries of what is possible with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML in the browser. Drive technical and user experience excellence with the solutions you design and the feedback you provide through peer mentorship, code reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional team. Telecommuting is permitted.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management, Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related roles. Requires 2 years of experience in the following skills: Web Development best practices including JavaScript and React; CSS3; RESTFul APIs; write reusable, maintainable and testable code; working with UX designers, QA and Product Managers; and Agile methodologies. Telecommuting is permitted.
