We are looking for a skilled, motivated engineer, to join a team developing manufacturing automation and enterprise systems to drive efficiency throughout the company. As a software engineer focused on the visual factory, you will be a key member of a team of experts supporting engine manufacturing developing software platforms to enable real-time analysis and decision-making. We are constantly innovating in the ways we are automating and accelerating the delivery of products using pioneering software and hardware technologies. We use the latest AWS technologies and approaches to build distributed, highly available systems to achieve our goals. Responsibilities Develop new tools and applications that enable manufacturing teams to automate existing processes and standardize on performance-based benchmarks. Contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of successful enterprise-scale systems and services in support of our fulfillment operations and the businesses they support. Produce quality user documentation for defining integrations between enterprise-level applications Adopt software DevOps technologies to solve software automation problems Identify feature gaps between enterprise systems and develop remediation plans. Share knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering standard methodologies. Qualifications BA/BS in computer science, information science or related field; or equivalent practical experience Strong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability translate domain expertise into applications. Either Python, JS, C#, or Java must be a primary language. Experience developing APIs and building applications on them in a production environment Experience standing up servers, databases, and enterprise-level applications. Familiarity with the migration of software from development to production. Strong familiarity with SQL and database systems.
