Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring proper software application behavior in an agile environment by defining, documenting, and executing the testing of web applications. Participate in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, and product deployment. Work in an agile development environment contributing to test creation and leading the implementation and execution of automated cases. Build and manage automated test framework and tools to automate the Data and Application Platform services and product line offerings.  Implement patterns and automated processes that ensure that the data flow from systems is not interrupted due to unintended consequences of changes or component failure.  Collaborate with other employees to develop best practices for software quality assurance, and participate in all phases of Agile Scrum methodology with the team, providing input into Analysis, design, development, estimation, planning, and retrospectives. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the United States.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience with all aspects of product testing, including test planning, documentation, use case creation, defect management and reporting. Experience must include performing quality assurance, manual, performance, or automated testing; working with QA methodologies, including functional or non-functional testing, best practices and standards; and working with Test Director, HPQC, Selenium, Load Runner, WorkSoft, or Cucumber. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Position at Navigating Cancer, Inc in Seattle, WA. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the United States.

Salary: $160,000 - $165,000 * *per year based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.

Base pay range: $160,000 - $165,00 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
