In this role, you will work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice. Responsibilities will include marketing to new and existing clients, successfully executing projects, and recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified staff. You will be responsible for Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of building envelope and building material failures. Developing a profitable and dynamic Buildings and Structures consulting practice based in Exponent's Seattle office Collaborating with our Materials and Corrosion Consulting practice with a particular focus on expanding client relationships in the local market Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and promote Exponent through typical business contacts Recruiting, developing, and mentoring staff in the areas of architectural and structural engineering, failure analysis and investigation, and both domestic and international dispute resolution Promoting Exponent's expertise in architectural and structural engineering by meeting with potential clients, presenting at conferences and conducting seminars You will have the following skills and qualifications M.S./Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or degree in architecture P.E. or S.E. license in the States of Washington and Oregon.
