ZGF Architects Senior Healthcare Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

ZGF is seeking a Senior Healthcare Project Manager with 10+ years of progressive architecture/design project management experience to join our team in Seattle, WA. Healthcare project management experience is required, specifically large-scale hospitals or medical campuses. We are looking for creative, passionate, and strategic thinkers who are adept at leading teams of architects and designers from the very beginning of a project through to completion. You will be working mostly on large-scale healthcare projects, with occasional smaller-scale projects like operating room or laboratory remodels.

As a Senior Healthcare Project Manager, you will…

  • Manage teams from concept design through construction and have a deep understanding of building, zoning, energy codes, ADA, construction standards, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Independently develop project proposals, define and manage work plans, organize and supervise design teams, participate in presentations and interviews, and find creative solutions to project challenges.

  • Have experience in leading User Group / Stakeholder meetings in all phases of design.

  • Bring a proven track-record of success with complex, multi-phase architectural and design projects, preferably in a healthcare environment.

  • Be a well-rounded strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution.

    Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture/design project management. Healthcare project experience required. 

  • A professional degree in architecture, design, or a similar field. 

  • Proficient, if not an expert, in Bluebeam, Revit, Deltek and Microsoft Suite.

  • A licensed architect with LEED accreditation is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience in delivering successful architecture/design projects which comply with relevant building, FGI, ADA, construction standards, and other related regulatory requirements.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills that can break down a bold vision into actionable steps, managing your team of architects to achieve extraordinary design solutions and outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to establish and maintain project criteria, communicate it to project teams, and manage projects with confidence and ease while ensuring design intention is maintained throughout all project phases.

  • Adept at maintaining relationships with clients and consultants.

  • A desire to be continuously challenged and supported at a growing architectural practice committed to excellence and pushing at the edge of invention.

    Base Salary Range:

    $100,000/yr - $140,000/yr
