Outreach Corporation Senior Data Scientist in Seattle, Washington

*Job Duties: *

Artificial Intelligence (60% of time)

  • Leverage experience with state-of-the-art NLP technologies to build machine learning models for understanding natural language using standard ML and deep learning techniques. 
  • Plan and execute data collection and annotation projects.
  • Build cloud-based machine learning pipelines for processing data and training models.
  • Define and implement metrics to measure the performance of machine learning models.

Software Engineering (40% of time)

  • Collaborate with Product Management in planning product capabilities, using expertise in NLP and ML to inform technical feasibility.
  • Implement software systems in that interface with machine learning models for processing conversational data.
  • Implement automated tests for ensuring high availability of such software systems.

     

Requirements:

Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or a related occupation.

Must possess at least 1 year of experience in the following skills: Python, SQL, Spark, Data wrangling, Statistical analysis and computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Cloud Computing.

Telecommuting is permitted within a reasonable commuting distance from Seattle, WA.
