UW MEDICAL CENTER- MONTLAKE- RESPIRATORY CARE is currently recruiting for a RESPIRATORY CARE INTERN to join our Respiratory Care Team!

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Shifts AND Hours may vary POSITION HIGHLIGHTS The Respiratory Care Intern will report to the Respiratory Care Manager. the Respiratory Care Intern provides advanced Respiratory Care to patients of all ages, (e.g., newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric). Care is provided under general supervision in all areas of UW MEDICAL CENTER- MONTLAKE. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide patient care limited to only those procedures that havebeen completed in the associated Respiratory Care School curriculum prior tobeing done in the hospital patient care area

  • Utilize the respiratory care process (assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation) to recommend, delegate, coordinate andprovide safe, therapeutic respiratory care to patients;

  • Provide respiratory care consistent with professional practicestandards, HMC policies and procedures, the Law Relating to Respiratory CarePractitioner #18.89 and Federal and State regulations. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Care Program within by the State of Washington.
