Infosys is seeking an Client Partner for our Retail Consulting Group to be based in Seattle, WA or the Vancouver, Canada area. In this role you will be responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. You will work together with senior management to build an account plan and hold responsibility for client management based on the account plan. Role Description:

  • Client relationship management and business development: manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $20-40M, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close
  • Be the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisor
  • Leverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to develop solutions that address the client's business problems
  • Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client
  • Account planning and governance: create the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • 8+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
  • Strong network in the Retail industry segment
  • Able to identify opportunities of growth in the account and prepare account strategy and planning. Should regularly monitor trends, market dynamics and incorporate them into existing account strategy and plan.
  • Identifying and grooming team members and build teams into future leaders
  • Consultative sales and solution selling capability. Explore opportunities to cross / up sell by leveraging relationships and also Infosys' solutions, products and success stories
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience

  • 9+ years of IT Services experience including project management, delivery and account management.
  • 5+ years of account management/selling experience
  • Proven experience with sales or consulting into Retail industry
  • History of achieving/overachieving sales targets
  • Experience in S/W contract negotiations
  • Experience with competitor mapping and SWOT analysis
  • Ability to define specific to ground-breaking solutions within abstract environments
  • Well networked within the IT services industry, Retail and consumer Fashion vertical is ideal
  • Ability to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client partners
