We are disrupting the status quo of Business to Business (B2B) by delivering new, efficient purchasing and service solutions for individual proprietors, small-medium businesses, global organizations, and everything in between.

As a Program Manager on Amazon Business' Service Line Development team, you'll be responsible for a critical stage of our Competitive Bid Mechanism (i.e. B2B Deal Desk), evaluating multi-million dollar deals including requests for services (e.g., Manual Replenishment, Vending, Installation). You will coordinate with other custom capability owners to craft responses that encompass a Product Basket, Service Provider Assignment and Custom Pricing. This role requires advanced knowledge of Excel, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to rapidly adjust priorities in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.

This high visibility role will require regular communication with business leaders, collaboration with tech and non-tech teams, and influence on partner team's operations. As the leader of Opportunity and Response for Enterprise Customers, you will report on program performance to senior business leaders in weekly business reviews. You will work with Product and Tech teams to improve the response process, define business requirements, and identify opportunities to drive efficiency in the program, including the creation and configuration of a Service product catalog.

This role can be based in New York City, Seattle, Austin, or San Francisco.

Key job responsibilities

· Become a knowledgeable partner and leader on Amazon Business Services solutions

· Be a master of Excel and comfortable seeking, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources

· Drive regular business reviews based on overall program goals and objectives

· Perform in-depth data analysis to form and deliver actionable selection (i.e., product) recommendations for customers of all types

· Deliver the highest level of customer service to our customers through change management and response to both new opportunities and customer escalations

About the team

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer lifecycle for AB Services - working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market, and bring structure to an ambiguous space. You will help drive growth for customers and deliver operationally stable solutions that provide an optimal customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
