Seattle Children’s Hospital Program Coordinator II - Tele-psych Consulting in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating activities associated with a specific complex program or group of complex programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff as well as other stakeholders to help to implement the program's objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and program staff. May manage data on the program's effectiveness. Responsible for facilitating the deployment of the program's strategy including implementing a variety of solutions that optimize the program's effectiveness. Coordinates the process of executing initiatives essential for the success of the program. SERIES CONCEPT: A program is a specialized area with specific complex components and discrete tasks which distinguish it from the main body of the organization. There is a defined plan to accomplish a particular objective with elements and scope that distinguish it from the usual scope and responsibilities of a department or functional area. The specialized tasks involve interpretation of policies, procedures and regulations, independent functioning and public contact. A program typically has a long-term focus with an expectation that the plan/program will serve or impact on-going needs or goals. The primary responsibilities and accountabilities are typically transferable from one program to another. The performance of administrative tasks are in support of the individual's performance specific to the program. Job Posting Addendum: Provide program coordination to support ongoing development and training of PAL () consultation programs: Manage the Medication Reviews/Second Opinion Network programs for the states of WA/WY/AK. Provide teleconsultation coordination between pediatric primary care providers and PAL psychiatrists for the states of WA/WY/AK. Act as liaison with the Washington State Health Care Authority. Oversee collection, maintenance, and review of data for PAL programs. Ensure timely contract deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and formatting. Support for other PAL programs: PAL-PAK (Partnership Access Line - Alaska Pediatrics), Wyoming state consultations and evaluations and SAFES (Supporting Adolescents and Families Experiencing Suicidality) programs. Provide ongoing communication with PAL leadership and project teams on teleconferences and in reports. Provide program and administrative support: Participate in department activities including goals setting, objectives and timelines. Assist with the promotion and utilization of the PAL program by participating in outreach and conference/webinar coordination. Provide education to users about PAL programs. (may include limited travel). Assist with tracking and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/PAL Administrative Manual and management of staff training documentation. Administrative tasks such as calendar coordination and scheduling, supply ordering, inventory, mailings, invoice tracking. In partnership with leadership participate in the development of innovative mental health consultative program services. Participate to develop project plans and assure implementation steps are followed for smooth operation of new business initiatives.
