The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi- billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams are made up of specialists with deep technology and industry expertise who help carry their fields into the future. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities

  • Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.

  • Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.

  • Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.

  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

About the team

You will have the opportunity to define go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Amazon Bedrock and lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities. This involves activities including market sizing, working with your counterparts from across the globe to build an opportunity pipeline, working with customers to understand technical requirements for proof-of-concepts, creating content to train the field teams, driving industry thought-leadership, working with product teams to define new features, identifying partners and helping serve customer leveraging Amazon Bedrock. As the ideal candidate, you possess a business and technology background that enables you to lead and drive engagements with customers from various segements, from startups to multinational enterprises. You have domain expertise in generative AI and key ML powered use cases. You have the technical depth to articulate the benefits of Amazon Bedrock, and other GenAI related services and solutions to data scientists and C-Level executives. In addition, you have a good understanding of the GenAI market trends, ecosystem, opportunities, and are passionate about market development and evangelism. You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with teams within AWS (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, partner, and professional services) and externally with customers and model providers. You will drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon Bedrock, interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and work with and model providers and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve them.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience

  • 7+ years of experience with machine learning, AI, or GenAI/LLM in a business development/partner capacity.

  • Experience interfacing with GenAI/ML customers and partners, with deep understanding of GenAI market landscape, ecosystem, and ability to articulate technology and value proposition

  • Experience driving partnerships and developing joint go-to-market strategies with AI/ML model providers

  • Hands-on understanding of deep learning and other ML algorithms with hands-on experience running pilots and POCs to demonstrate capabilities to prospects

  • BA/BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

  • Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders.

  • Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts

  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners. You've not only carried quotas, you've consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer.

  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing cross-functional solutions-led go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motion.

  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms;

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.

  • Recognized industry expertise in AI/ML with proven public speaking and media prowess.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
