Description

Our organization sets the standard for Trust Customer Experience across all devices and services that Amazon offers to customers, including AI-powered voice assistants, TVs, tablets, wearables, robots, satellite services, security systems and even self-driving cars!

In this role, you will drive solutions that require technology, process, and operations to drive customer trust in world-class AI driven products. The projects will have high degrees of ambiguity, will require diving deep into the technology, develop new standards, and drive new inventions to generate long term sustainable solutions.

Key job responsibilities

• You will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well and staying connected to the details;

• You will be responsible for delivering results despite working in an ambiguous environment;

• You will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously;

• You will define strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs you own;

• You will be responsible for overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs that you run;

• Throughout, you will internalize Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and live those into everyday practices to guide your programs to success.

A day in the life

• Dive deep with your customers to identify and understand their painpoints;

• Think big to build durable products that anticipate future painpoints;

• Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions;

• Track deliverables, keep stakeholders inform, escalate when necessary;

• Evangelize your products and drive adoption;

• Think through all aspects of your products' life cycles, incl. business, technical, legal, and marketing;

• Help others grow professionally.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

  • Experience in architectural design or system design independent of an architect

  • Experience designing and building products for developers and scientists

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
