Amazon Business is a B2B marketplace on Amazon.com that gives businesses of all sizes access to hundreds of millions of products in a shopping experience built for businesses. Amazon Business is also dedicated to developing new industry solutions, which is what customers have come to expect about Amazon.

This role is dedicated to sell AB's innovative new supply chain solution "Outsourced E-Commerce", which is a groundbreaking service introduced in 2024. AB has built the capability to offer the Amazon experience for other company's e-commerce transactions, fulfillment, and customer service experience. There are various B2B2C supply fulfillment opportunities this capability has created. This role will prospect and engage executives to create and close contracted multi-million dollar deals for this outsourced service. The role will clearly set the supply selection, tech and service needs, fulfillment expectations, and marketing opportunities. Once successfully launched, the role will transition the customer to an an Account Manager.

Key job responsibilities

  • Prioritize, prospect, and engage large organizations ideal for launching AB's Outsourced E-Commerce Solution.

  • Advance prospects through discovery phase of supply selection, tech, service, and fulfillment requirements.

  • Coordinate within Amazon the deal requirements and launch realities to supporting or impacted stakeholder departments.

  • Lead contract negotiations and execution.

  • Support the customer and internal teams with the launch readiness. Stay engaged with the customer until the customer is confidently managed by an Account Executive.

  • Champion the solution in Amazon Business to educate teams on the solution and top prospects. Champion the solution externally through public and private channel opportunities.

  • Work with AB's Solution Development and stakeholder teams to champion new solution iterations, aligning beta customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of complex Sales or Business Development growth ownership.

• 5+ years experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record, ability to navigate across the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach, and establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.

• BA/BS degree or 15 years equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-Suite customer executives

• Experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and senior leadership internally (Director and VP-level)

• Experience managing and orchestrating account team resources on behalf of the customer

• Track record of consistent and sustained business and sales performance in complex enterprise sales

• 5+ years of experience working in a large enterprise with multiple business units, managing various business functions.

• MBA preferred

• A strong understanding of supply chain and/or technology as a service is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
