Do you want to help make shopping experiences even better for our customers? Are you looking to improve our customer's shopping journey? We are looking for a highly motivated, customer obsessed and deeply technical, Principal product manager who will work across multiple lines of business, and organizations to build systems that better understands our shoppers and their journey. You'll lead a multifaceted product that’s is driving a store-wide architecture shift to modernize how we build customer experiences for Amazon.

We are the one stop shop for all shopping experience building product displays. Through our highly available Tier-1 services we provide the building blocks for creating any shopping experience. We power experiences like Search, Personalization, Cart and Checkout across all platforms including Amazon.com, mobile and voice shopping.

As a Principal Product Manager- Technical on the team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end roadmap of the product, working across hundreds of partner teams. You will work with senior leaders across Amazon, finding solutions to multi-dimensional problems and driving the delivery of across the different parts of the Amazon.com product portfolio.

In this role you will also:

  • Be a key contributor to our team strategy and roadmap, focused specifically on self-serve customer success.

  • Lead and collaborate with global partner teams on roadmap and prioritization reviews.

  • Deep-dive data to extract insights that inform your project's path forward

  • Perform product analysis highlighting what works, what doesn't and associated corrective actions

  • Define customer and/or business requirements that will serve as the basis for software development

  • Run a monthly business review with senior Amazon leaders

  • Serve as subject matter expert and answer questions from senior leadership

  • Ingest new roadmap and project update documents coming from your partner teams

The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about new opportunities and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering programs and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. This person has thrived and succeeded in driving high quality technology products/services delivery in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
