Seattle Children’s Hospital Postdoctoral Fellow - Tang Lab in Seattle, Washington
Responsibilities: The Tang Lab at Seattle Children's Research Institute seeks highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow. This position will focus on the neural mechanisms underlying action learning in mice. The ideal candidate would be experienced with mouse neuroscience work and be comfortable handling and breeding mice as well as doing stereotaxic viral injections, cannula/fiber/lens/electrode implants, MATLAB/Python/R programming and data analysis, and behavioral work. Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program. Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: - Experience with mouse handling and mouse neuroscience. - Experience with optogenetics, AAV, and neural recordings such as electrodes, miniscopes, and fiber photometry. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $32.57 - $47.39 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $67,750.00 - $98,571.20 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
