Seattle Children’s Hospital Postdoctoral Fellow - School Mental Health in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities The selected applicant will oversee collaborations with local high schools in the Seattle metropolitan region to facilitate their implementation of school mental health interventions and will have opportunities to expand their training to additional intervention and/or research activities depending on individualized training goals. The fellow will also benefit from access to broader training opportunities within SCRI and the University of Washington. Competitive applicants will have a doctorate in school, educational, of clinical psychology with at least three years of experience working in school settings. For applicants interested in research mentorship, there can be opportunities to engage in all phases of the research cycle, from grant writing, to designing methods, program implementation, data collection, analysis, and paper writing. For applicants interested in developing assessment and intervention delivery skills there can be opportunities to deliver additional school and clinic-based interventions with formal supervision from qualified clinical supervisors at Seattle Children's Hospital. Requirements Required Education/Experience: Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program. Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: Previous experience conducting research in the pediatric arena. Experience in protocol and manuscript development and in grant writing. Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
