Personnel Security Manager (PSM) / Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of security experts, the Personnel Security Manager (PSM) will support security measures necessary for development, implementation, and maintenance of Blue Origin's Personnel Security Program based on Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Special Access Program (SAP), Intelligence Community (IC), and other applicable requirements. The PSM will serve as an alternate to the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO), and may take part in Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Communications Security (COMSEC), Insider Threat Program, and/or Launch operations. The PSM will assist with Policy creation and interpretation, while actively participating in Security Education, Training, and Awareness campaigns. The PSM will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative needs, to include, but not limited to the protection of unclassified material designated as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR), and company Proprietary. The PSM must have moderate security-related experience in support of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs with knowledge of government security regulations, manuals, and processes, to include 32 CFR part 117, Intelligence Community Directives, and other applicable DoD manuals. The PSM will report to Blue Origin's Government Security Director. We are seeking a PSM that is highly motivated with excellent administrative skills, a critical thinker who communicates with candor, and is committed to Team excellence. The ideal PSM must be willing to learn how to become an expert in all facets of security and be a self-starter. A passion for our mission and vision is essential! This position will directly impact the history of space exploration, will require dedicated commitment, and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities: Utilize various personnel security databases to include Defense Information Security System (DISS), Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), TALON, Scattered Castles, SIMS, and C-CURE. Maintain the Personnel Security Program to help individuals obtain and maintain security clearances, program accesses, and be compliant with the Continuous Evaluation (CE) process. Engage with external security partners while performing personnel security duties. Assist in the development and maintenance of security education, training, and awareness. Assist with COMSEC duties. Assist in the maintenance of security planning documents (Standard Operating Procedures, Program Protection, Operations Security, and other applicable plans or processes.
