Job Description

Holland America Line, and Seabourn offer world-renown vacations at sea to travelers around the globe. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, unified organization as part of their highly experienced team in our corporate office.

We’re looking for an Human Resources professional with strong analytical skills to fill this role based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for providing organizational and administrative support to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and Director, People Partner for Holland America Line and Seabourn. They will provide support in special projects, management of People Team function and Leadership Team, and communication strategy. They will act as the CPO’s point of contact for external and internal inquiries and coordination of meetings, travel and special events. They will also contribute to the priorities and strategic objectives of the People Team by gathering and processing qualitative and quantitative employment data; performing high-level data analysis in support of the CPO; and identifying trends, drawing useful conclusions, and recommending solutions for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative:

  • Manage the CPO and Director People Partner calendars.

  • Coordinate flights, visas, transfers, and hotel accommodations.

  • Set up People Team regular and ad hoc meetings, onsite and offsite.

  • Assist in maintaining employee records.

  • General People Team support and People Team point of contact in the Seattle office.

  • Analysis, Reporting, and Metrics:

  • Perform high-level ad hoc data analysis in support of the CPO, identifying trends, drawing useful conclusions, and recommending solutions for process improvements.

  • Design, develop, and analyze reports and presentations for all aspects of Human Resources.

  • HR Programs/Projects:

  • Support and coordinate ad hoc programs and projects, such as engagement survey, etc.

  • Support companywide New Hire Emersion as needed.

  • Employee Engagement:

  • Team Effectiveness and Team Building events (virtual and in office).

  • People Team onboarding and offboarding support.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a HR Administration or Analysis role

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables required)

  • Strong knowledge of Power Point, Outlook and Teams.

  • Ability to perform well amid changing priorities and under strict deadlines.

  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the company/department, product/function, and internal organizational structure.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrates professionalism and strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with personnel of all levels of the organization including other Carnival Corporation Brands

  • Demonstrates confidentiality, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through.

  • Base Hourly Range: $24.28 to $32.79. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
