Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed, and motivated individual to join the Amazon Fresh Stores team. Amazon Fresh is a new grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in store or online. We’ve also introduced new ways to make grocery shopping more convenient, including Just Walk Out technology and the Amazon Dash Cart, which enables customers to skip the checkout line, and new Alexa features to help customers manage their shopping lists and better navigate our aisles.

We're looking for a motivated and talented Project Manager to support our automation and quality initiatives. You will support Fresh's ability to scale quickly while still delivering a world-class shopping experience to our Grocery customers. As the Project manager, you will own processes, metrics, and tool development that ensures we are scaling effectively. You will coordinate with multiple stakeholder teams to make sure deliverables are being met on time and provide visibility to leadership teams on progress of business critical projects. You will also work with business intelligence and technology teams to ensure the data and tools supporting Fresh's ability to scale is evolving in the right way. Lastly, you will be responsible for the overall teams adoption of new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have customer experience intuition, business and product sense combined with solid understanding of technical concepts. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities for a Project Manager on the Non-Food & Alcohol team:

*Manage existing merchandising tool sets.

*Support technology teams in developing new tool features and drive feature adoption.

*Track overall team efficiency and quality. Define road maps to improve this.

*Work with partner teams to create new metrics to measure quality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • 4+ Years of non-internship merchandising or project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
