This position requires at least 80% travel, and comes with a generous company provided Food Per Diem, Company provided Hotel, and a Company Vehicle!

Starting rate is dependent upon experience.

Qualifications

Prior Construction and/or Framing background a tremendous plus! Prior leadership experience is a plus

MDU Fiber to the Home Installers are the face of our company. North Sky Communications is currently looking for motivated individuals with a high attention to detail and excellent customer relations skills for in home installation.

What you'll do....

  • Works with customers and management to create seamless experience in retrofitting MDU's

  • Uses small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Ensures that service operates within prescribed parameters

  • Attempts to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived problems

  • Drives company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner

  • Cleans, maintains, and stocks vehicle and equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties

  • Completes paperwork accurately, and reports and records work order status updates

  • Knowledge of coax, CAT5, fiber optic installation a plus

  • Greet customers in the home while conducting walk thru

  • Reviews all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement

  • Interacts with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns

  • Provide customer education regarding product and service usage

    Qualifications:

  • Prior MDU fiber to the home experience is a plus.

  • Must maintain a clean appearance

  • Must have a great attention to detail and take pride in your work

  • Must be able to maintain schedules, be prompt and punctual

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces

  • We can teach you the rest if you are willing to learn

  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be available to work weekends as needed

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Overhead lifting

  • Climbing & carrying ladders with a weight of up to 75 lbs.

  • Working in attics and crawl spaces

  • Standing,walking,and crouching for long periods of time
