Aston Carter Litigation Legal Assistant in Seattle, Washington

Job Description:

Large tech company located in Downtown Seattle, WA is looking to hire a hybrid Litigation Legal Assistant to provide timely and effective support to Sr. Paralegals, Attorneys, and Sourcing Professionals and will collaborate with other Paralegals and members of the Law & Corporate Affairs Department.

Pay - $28/hr. - $33/hr. (depending on overall qualification and tenure following requirements below)

Location - Seattle, WA

Schedule - Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM PST or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST

Contract Duration - 6 Months to Start

Responsibility:

In this role, you will participate in projects with medium to high complexity and will be responsible for drafting a variety of commercial documents including: Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Proof of Concept Agreements, Transportation Services Agreements, and Master Purchasing Agreements with supervision.

Must Haves (Non-negotiables):

  • 2-3+ years of legal administrative and/or contracts management experience

  • Commercial contracts and legal drafting experience

  • Open to law firm or in-house legal department experience or contracts management experience

  • High ethical standards and proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Meticulous attention to detail and advanced organizational skills

  • Poise under pressure and ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
