Job Title: Internship/Industry Coordinator (Music Industry)

Pay Rate: $25HR - $30HR (Depending On Experience)

Schedule: Hybrid 3x Week - Flexible Schedule preferably between 9am-5pm

Job Description

This role works directly with the music industry team. The team strives to grow the business through external partnerships with record labels, artists, and managers in pursuit of content, promotion, and fan engagement. The Industry Coordinator role involves a combination of support responsibilities and opportunities to work on projects handled by different sub-teams. This company's Music Org. offers a fun and fast-paced environment, requiring regular communication with internal and external partners and departments. The ideal candidate seeks music industry experience, is innovative, team-oriented, an effective communicator, and appreciates a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating meeting agenda inputs, taking meeting notes and summarizing action items

  • Fulfillment of administrative tasks (including, but not limited to, invoice tracking, payments, contracting)

  • Outreach to labels for follow ups, to collect assets and deliverables

  • Tracking of artist partnerships, OOH, social media

  • Create, review and update project and campaign trackers

  • Research projects and audits at the direction of the team

  • Creation of campaign decks and collecting inputs

  • Coordinate set up and prep for artist meetings/visits

  • Project based support on a case, by case basis, such as budgets, event management assistance, newsletters or database management

Top Skills:

  • Music industry experience (e.g., worked at labels, big tech companies, streaming services, social media companies like Meta/TikTok)

  • Basic tech skills (e.g., creating decks in PowerPoint)

  • Currently enrolled in school or graduated

  • Strong interest in music

  • Innovative

  • Team-oriented

  • Effective communicator

  • Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Environment

Work hours vary weekly, ranging from 15 to 40 hours. Commitment to at least two days per week is required, with the possibility of additional hours during school breaks, potentially full-time in the summer. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, ideally between 9-5pm. Locations include Seattle (SEA43), Brooklyn (JFK28), LA (LAX35), and a TBD location in Nashville. The position supports various teams, including the country music team in Nashville and the artist relations team.
