At CP Fresh we make healthy, fresh food items as well as value-added fresh cut fruit and vegetables for use in a wide base of our retail and foodservice customers. CP Fresh was established in 2016 and is now a growing innovative leader in the fresh food world. We are looking for a dynamic & creative team oriented person to help us grow! Responsibilities Schedule: 4am - 12:30pm or until job is complete (must be available to work weekends) Pay: $24 - $26 hr DOE Job Summary: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to lead the processing team at this facility and meet recipe specifications and build orders as determined by the processing allocation. To provide a safe, clean, and heathful work environment for self and other team members. Adhere to existing corporate policies and procedures in the Production Department. The Production Lead is also responsible for following all allergen procedures.Ensure audits and preventative maintenance schedules are performed to established procedures. Provide the Production Supervisor with objective feedback. Meet or exceed daily production requirements per product specifications as set by production planning. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities in a timely fashion as requested. Reports directly to the Production Supervisor. Essential Functions: Reviews daily processing allocation and, in discussion with other processing team members, plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet daily production requirements. Alerts team members to any special instructions and updates the team about any production add-ons. Ensure Production crew is processing food according to HACPP and GMP regulations. Oversee that crew is safely using equipment as necessary in preparation of food service items by providing training and appropriate PPE. Operate all functions of position alone and without assistance if necessary. Fill in for the Production Supervisor when absent. Coordinates the start-of-shift with the Processing Manager and other leads to ensure that the team gets started in a timely fashion and that all GMP's are adhered to. Checks order sheets and other written instructions to meet customer specifications, and personally checks pallets of product on first shipment to a new customer and to assure satisfactory packaging and production of first order. Review daily documents filled out by the different lines for food safety requirements. Ensures that the documents are filled out correctly and in a timely fashion. Assists with the communication with the processors to make sure that product is available and the lines work efficiently. Make sure that materials needed to produce the product is available and pulled from the warehouse. Fills in when necessary and assists with training new employees. Assists the processing supervisor and manager with employee relation policies and to safety and health requirements in the food handling and storage areas. Is responsible for quality and food safety. Represents the team at team meetings. Shares in minor repair work and housekeeping responsibilities for the work area. Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by Production Manager. Each team member is required to learn and perform every job on the team. Qualifications Job Qualifications: Ability to read/write/record data and perform mathematical calculations.
