Federal Proposal Coordinator, AEC Industry The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and organized and possesses project management, writing, and page layout skills. He/she is skilled in working with a team to formulate a pursuit's strategic messages. A successful Federal/Government Proposal Coordinator has leadership qualities and demonstrates a collaborative mindset, superior communication skills, problem solving ability, organizational skills, and transparency. He/she is a strategic thinker and pushes the status quo for continuous improvement. This is a remote position and open to working from any location within the continental United States. The successful candidate will manage Government market proposal development efforts with responsibilities including but not limited to: Strategy Development and Collaboration: Facilitate team discussions to develop winning strategies at both project and market levels; participate in market-focused activities to support business development functions. Proposal Management: Facilitate proposal kick-off meetings, define expectations, assign responsibilities, and manage adherence to proposal schedules; lead the team in developing visual and written content for proposals; draft/edit proposal narrative, ensure adherence to brand standards, and organize proposals clearly and concisely; schedule and facilitate proposal review meetings. Post-Proposal Analysis: Participate in post-proposal debriefs to analyze strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Opportunity Management: Assist in developing and managing the opportunity pipeline; qualify potential opportunities to align with organizational goals. Vendor and Client Prequalification: Track and maintain government vendor and client prequalification schedules and processes. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations impacting federal and other government proposals. Content Development and Maintenance: Develop, update, and maintain market-specific content, including project information and staff experience, using internal programs including, but not limited to, aec360, OpenAsset and others as required. Client-Focused Presentations: Assist in developing dynamic and client-focused interview presentations. Professional Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 8+ years of experience in the planning, preparation, and development of proposals in the A/E/C industry and qualifications packages for government clients, and as needed for other markets Experience in proposals with the Standard Form 330 Experience with Federal Markets, including, but not limited to, the Department of Defense including the National Guard Bureau, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and Air Force, as well as other non-DoD agencies for both vertical and horizontal pursuits and contract responses Ability to understand and adhere to regional and local proposal submission requirements and deadlines Experience with Adobe programs including InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with GovWin, ProjNet and other government portals Familiarity with proposal database software. Aec360 is preferred but not required Preferred Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively. Strong collaboration skills, coupled with the ability to actively listen, to foster a positive and productive team environment.
