Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Hybrid Salary: $87,360-$124,800 Level: Mid P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support education, commercial, federal, and/or infrastructure projects in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with the design of educational, federal, and commercial facilities. Position Requirements: Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy Systems Education, Commercial, Federal (NAVFAC), or Ports experience preferred. Minimum 2years of experience Experience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit Prior experience working on education, federal, or port projects. Possess strong record-keeping and organizational skills. Working Knowledge: National Electrical Code Washington State Energy Code Unified Facilities Criteria - preferred ETAP/SKM Microsoft Office Suite Revit a plus AutoCAD a plus Duties: Pre-Design Engineering Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reports. Prepare electrical schematic designs. Design Engineering Design power single line and riser diagrams Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM. Design low voltage and medium voltage infrastructure. Understand and utilize CAD/BIM standards. Have a working knowledge of National Electrical Code, Washington Codes and Energy Standards to design medium voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Coordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design team. Construction Administration Review and respond to RFI's. Review equipment submittals. Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report. Studies Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash Studies Feasibility Studies Masterplans for large multi-building facilities.
