The director, program management- onboarding is responsible for leading strategy and implementation of a new onboarding and hiring technology platform and building a consolidated center of excellence for onboarding at Starbucks. This leader will drive change and adoption of new systems, ways of working and processes as we continue our cloud HR technology journey.

As a director, program management PRO, you will…

  • Lead a cross functional, multi-year global hiring, onboarding, cross boarding, off boarding technical implementation and transformation strategy. They will serve as a “change agent” for key stakeholders to lead best practices, modernization, standardization, and efficiencies.

  • Build a center of excellence for onboarding, cross boarding(transfers) and off boarding(separations).

  • Align cross functional stakeholders across PRO, PEIC and operations to develop global onboarding goals and strategy, which includes policies, partner experience, processes & technology.

  • Leverage cross functional teams including talent, learning, operations, PRO business partners and shared services organization to create best in class partner onboarding experience meeting partners where they are at.

  • Develop onboarding operational model inclusive of people leaders, COEs, global business services and operations.

  • Ensure onboarding compliance (e.g. I-9 in US) & identify risks. Monitor and periodically report the mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
