Enterprise Technology: This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. Special Mentions [Edit or remove as needed] Relocation provided Travel expected up to 25% of the time Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partner with senior leaders in Enterprise Technology and Operations to provide technology vision and direction for manufacturing technology initiatives, staying updated on market trends and technology innovations. Lead and manage the vision for the software operations team supporting manufacturing technology, including the program management team and dedicated site leads for each manufacturing location. Identify and evaluate technical roadmaps, architecture, and research opportunities related to manufacturing technology services while leading critical discussions with technology partners. Manage enterprise technology internal metrics and management operating system for solution development programs across the manufacturing and supply chain domain. Provide broad insights on technology domains and capabilities to support enterprise-wide business decisions, establish strategic planning and governance principles, and present data and recommendations on current/future state of manufacturing technology operations. Manage technology resource requirements to balance tactical and strategic demands, facilitating communications across technology teams, users, and customer communities. Influence leaders within and outside the organization to align with organizational goals and build necessary partnerships. Direct the preparation, review, and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the manufacturing technology organization, evaluating financial impact of decisions and developing resource strategies. Hold all teams accountable for optimizing the cost, risk mitigation, and value of services and products through staffing, forecasting, budgeting, and spending control. Guide high-quality service delivery and support efforts for all manufacturing technology services, identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion to meet enterprise needs. Implement continuous-improvement programs, facilitating the identification of desired outcomes and success measures for the manufacturing technology organization and driving the completion of assessments and review metrics to ensure value delivery. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline; MBA preferred. 10+ years of Program Management experience in manufacturing technology, with aerospace industry experience preferred. 8+ years of leadership responsibility in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams on complex and business-critical projects, including influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders. Extensive experience in business planning, strategy, and operations for a manufacturing-focused organization, as well as technology strategy and delivery. Deep familiarity with highly technical product development teams and processes across software, product, user experience, and data science and an understanding of the applicability of different skills and methodologies.
