This role will support Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering(ACE), focused on both the development of next-generation concepts and systems to advance our future of living and working in space sustainably and provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. Enterprise Engineering allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, engineers, and program managers, you will work directly with the business unit, and be an active participant in meeting the organization's goals. We are seeking an analytical, creative, and forward-thinking finance leader to join our team. We're looking for someone with a passion for the pursuit of safe and repeatable spaceflight as you work daily with key stakeholders within the business unit program and finance teams. You will drive analysis, process improvement, and reporting to contribute towards financial and programmatic decisions that directly impact the history of space exploration. The individual should possess excellent financial acumen and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Special Mentions: Relocation provided Travel expected up to 25% of the time Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate cross functionally to collect, document and communicate business requirements to solve ambiguous and complex issues, ensuring a systematic approach to all critical issues Creation of content and ability to present data to support program, financial, and operations reviews Work with customer-partners and domain specialists to generate financial data reporting to facilitate key business decisions Lead metric development and financial performance reviews Perform risk and opportunity analysis and provide actionable recommendations Design, develop and maintain user-friendly financial dashboards and reporting that will support our business partner's financial needs Stay in sync with stated deadlines and ensure appropriate actions are driven in relation to business function forecasts Establish clear team and individual objectives, support performance and career development, and team engagement Develop and deliver to Advanced Concepts & Enterprise Engineering(ACE) business unit financial commitments in program/project EACs, business plans, investment returns, and annual operating plan Review bids and proposals, customer contract performance, new opportunity development. Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, resolving problems, and implementing change Serve as Finance Business Partner and trusted advisor to ACE Executive Leadership Lead cost reduction initiatives and ensure effective use of investment dollars Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written communication and presentation skills Demonstrated understanding of financial documents and performance metrics Experience in helping senior business leaders meet financial targets and deliver results Highly skilled collaborator and influencer capab
