Seattle Children’s Hospital Clinical Research Coordinator I in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: This position will work in a variety of settings including Seattle Children's Hospital and Urgent Cares as well as local community pediatric clinics to work closely with children and families in the community. The successful candidate will be comfortable explaining our research studies to potential participants. This position will work independently as well as alongside the Infectious Diseases research team. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following: - Collaborate with members of the assigned division research team in the organization, implementation, and completion of clinical research trials - Create and maintain regulatory documents - Organize protocol implementation and site initiation visits - Conduct routine monitoring of clinical studies - Ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines, and standards of Good Clinical Practice. Training and support to obtain the MA Registered credential will be provided after hire. The MA Registered credential is not required at the time of hire. Spanish fluency preferred, but not required. Requirements: Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Prior experience in research or a related field/setting. - To obtain licensure as a Medical Assistant Registered within 60 days of employment. Required Credentials: - Current Medical Assistant - Registered designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH) within 60 days of employment. - Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 60 days of employment. Preferred: - Spanish fluency. - Pediatric research experience. - Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $27.61 - $41.42 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $57,428.80 - $86,153.60 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
