Amazon Account Manager - Retail Sales, Ring in Seattle, Washington

Description

Ring is seeking an Account Manager to support the Retail Sales Team. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of assigned retail accounts. This includes customer item set up, POS reporting and sales analysis, and other account management, analytical, and administrative functions. The Account Manager will interact with customers on a daily basis and provide support for the Merchandising and Inventory Planning / Replenishment departments.

You will use your knowledge to further develop data-based tools that will be used to inform and drive sound decision making, as well as own processes that involve supply chain, finance, and accounting functions. You are tech savvy, experienced in understanding data and financials, well organized, and have excellent communication skills. You should have strong Excel analytical skills and be able to understand and articulate insights gathered from large data sets. Knowledge of retail POS and inventory analytics and processes will be critical for success.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build and manage databases and perform data entry.

  • Leverage historical data and market insights to deliver accurate POS and order forecast models.

  • Build and maintain tools and reports to monitor business performance.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute business needs.

  • Provide customer facing support, primarily for POS, marketing, and inventory planning departments.

  • Execute reporting for both Ring sales leadership and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Manage assortment and merchandising initiatives for in-line and ecommerce businesses.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

  • 3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience

  • 3+ years of B2B retail sales or account management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, inventory replenishment, demand planning, or forecasting

  • Experience organizing and facilitating cross-functional team projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $127,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
