About This Role: We're looking for a top-producing sales professional who can use their curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset to help expand our existing account base of Fortune class companies by selling to C-level executives. Hitting your quota on a monthly and quarterly basis, you'll find and close new business and creatively network for new prospects through social media. Success requires a transparent and repeatable sales process, and with successful prospecting comes a multitude of weekly meetings as well as the opportunity to double your income. Working with top executives and those who directly report to them, your role is about understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Forrester will deliver value and help them achieve their mission. Job Description: Prospect and close appropriate new business prospects from a list based on a specific geography or vertical industry. Sell primarily to senior management (director, C-level) at prospect accounts. Maintain the minimum weekly/daily metrics, and ensure quota is met consistently. Produce accurate and timely forecasts. Develop a complete understanding of all our product offerings, with some emphasis on custom content marketing programs. Understand the changing business and technology issues that our potential clients face. Work with vertical and horizontal research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects. Job Requirements: A bachelor's degree. Average experience of two to four years in a similar role. Experience selling business services to C-level professionals in a highly competitive market would be an advantage. The ability and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings. Proven experience in a similar role, specifically with new-business development, achieving quota goals, and managing personal sales strategies. Effective presentation, organization, and time management skills. A team player. A fast learner who is at ease with technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to do limited traveling. Please note that the base salary range listed here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition; base salary will be dependent on an employee's primary working location and the employee's skills compared to the requirements of the role. At Forrester, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Base salary range: $47,016 - $85,234 For employees based in Washington State, the percentage listed here is an estimated bonus target as a percentage of base salary. Individual and company performance, as well as other eligibility criteria, will determine the actual incentive amount.
